Top Takeaways from Funnel Hacking LIVE 2022

First I want to start off by saying, never have I ever been to such a high energy event, until this one. The set up to get into the event itself it something to remember.

We all started by waiting in a lobby area, outside of the auditoriums closed doors.

Day one starts off with Russell Brown talking with us about being a Drifter vs being Driven. Helped us understand the importance of understand which you are. He drove the point home to “Not except what is thrown your way, have direction”

We discussed operating open Fear vs Faith and what the difference was. His words encouraged us to “act on fait over fear- and to build positive rhythms.

Another powerful statement I wrote down that Russell Brunson said “The Mission you are called for may be heavier than you can handle right now”.

Next Mr. Brunson went into talking about what business we all are in. A question that he wanted us to ask ourselves individually. What business are you in? He broke down a 4-Step process;

  1. Identify what the problem that your business is trying to solve

  2. Identify who you are targeting

  3. What is your offer

  4. Close the deal

Then we got to hear from that talented Brooke Castillo! She offers a framework for your funnels that she says will truly transform your life!. She is a Master Certfied Coach and the founder of Life Coach School, now in it’s 15th year. First, I have to give my respect to this woman. She I worth around 42 million! Whew!

One of the remarks she made stuck with me. She said, “Your thoughts create your feelings”. She then laid out this pattern ..

Circumstances -> Throughts -> Feeliongs-> Actions-> Results

She said another remark that put into perspective what a Sales person is asking for when they want a sale. “Your not asking for money, you are asking for them to invest in something valuable to them”

She then went on to make a point that I have been repeating in my mind over and over. “What is you Capacity” Are you living your life to your fullest capacity? Part of her closing remarks was powerful as well. She said, “No matter how much you win, you are not immune to loosing.”

The next speaker for that day was none of the than Derral Eves, the Youtube guy, (I named him that). So Derral is a Youtube and video marketing expert. He has helped over 28 Youtube channels go from ZERO to over a million subscribers! He dropped a book nugget for you YouTubers. “Traffic Secrets.” Grab yours.

He talked a lot about how Youtube is designed to predict what the viewers want to watch. It also looks at overall long-term viewer engagement and satisfaction. He said that no matter what your business is, these are the factors the algorithm considers when selecting what videos to organically show.

  1. What people watch

  2. What people don’t watch

  3. How much time is spent on videos

  4. Likes and Dislikes

  5. Not Interested - Feedback

  6. Surveys- these appear after the video

  7. Do you come back and watch it again

  8. What did you save to watch later

  9. What did you come back to finish watching

One thing is for certain, “your message MUST set you apart.” He also mentioned that user generated content ranks the best.



Next, we got to hear from Stu McLaren. He is the expert in getting recurring income. This is good for Organizations and Companies that have Memberships.

He broke down for us the 9 different types of High-profit Membership Funnels. Stu says, “The number one reason people cancel memberships is because they feel overwhelmed .” So your strategy has to be able to not only Attract the Members but also convert and welcome new members as well as retain them. You always want to give people a “reason to buy” he mentioned. I literally wrote down each one of these, I thought it was such useful information. Be lwo is also a picture I grabbed of te screen while he was talking. Here is the breakdown;

Membership Launch Funnel - Put them on a waitlist. You could do this in the form of a “pre-launch” as the first stage, then make an offer after that.

Secret Invite Funnel - This is where you make it so the customer can’t sign up right away. They would make a request to sign up, then make the Thank you page an invite to a webinar they have to watch to get the offer.

Thank you Email Funnel - This would have a list buider option, they would get a thank you email, with a webinar invite and sales pitch at the end.

Coaching Week Funnel - This would come in the form of an Ad with a low dollar offer -> thenfunnel them into the offer you really want to sell.

The 48 Hour Funnel - Youtake your waitlist -> send them an email 1 eek before advertising the 48 hour deal- then send it 2 days before -> then send it 1 day before - > send the 48 hour promo -> Day 1 (9am, 7pm) Day 2 (9am, 4pm, then 7pm) END OF SALE.

The Social Funnel- I didn’t get much info on this one, sorry

The Backend Funnel- This is where you deliver a course, then make an offer, and email a follow up with a deadline date

The Influencer Funnel - Research Influencers -> Make a deal to them-> Have the social post created -> Let that lead to an ad-> that leads to your offer

The Challenge Funnel - Run ads for a 5 day challenge-> at the end give a sale pitch
